#Hajime and Izuru are strictly platonic in this because doing otherwise would make me uncomfy

Another dr2 AU, I actually came up with this months ago, and I wrote it down in a doc, but I never posted it on here as I came up with it long before I made the Switch AU post. For those who don't know, the Switch AU was the first Danganronpa AU that I posted.
(Also I'm copying the first two paragraphs straight from my docs and I can't really add any detail cuz of how simplified I made it)
In the Neo World Program, there are, for some reason, 17 avatars despite only having 16 people hooked up to it. There's an extra person with long black hair and red eyes named Izuru Kamukura who has no memories at all. He really likes pastels and soft things, usually wearing a skirt and hair pin. Because he wasn't dehumanized and neglected, he's happy and polite, getting along with everyone, enjoying their company even if it's predictable. His favorite is Hajime, even when he finds out Hajime is talentless.
Whenever a murder accurs, he's like a different person, extremely serious and perceptive. Izuru ends up surviving and yells that he would never kill anyone, until a monitor comes down and shows the Killing School Massacre. He ends up in tears, gripping onto Hajime's arm.
They get hung up on the whole "Hajime and Izuru are the same person" thing, but it's ok. Hajime won't abandon him. They work together to get everyone out of Despair, Izuru having a Hope Form thing too. (I keep imagining his Hope form as a magical girl. Do with that what you will.) When they get out, they're... not very ok. Sharing a body is weird for them, as both of their consciousnesses are their, so if you looked inside their head it would be a box with both of them inside. They're not enjoying it in the slightest because of how different they are.
Hajime, for some reason, got all of Izuru's old memories, possibly because soft Izuru wasn't supposed to exist. That means that their is two Izuru's in there, but one just sits in the corner and watches while the other is really trying to help. Eventually, they put Hajime back into a vr, to see if they can give Izuru his own body. Despair Izuru is fine staying in Hajime's head, and the Izurus don't really get along so it's ideal.
It works, and suddenly they have another boy with every talent running around and willing to help. Except one is running around in pastels and skirts while the other is in a suit. Once Izuru is out of Hajime's head, they get along fine again, but trying to control the same body together just wasn't fun.
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting that ending. I never came up with an ending, all I had written down was the first two paragraphs. I was just... thinking as I write and soon that same out.
